Planning And Why You Should Do It: Social Media Marketing

Social Media Marketing takes a lot of time if you don't do it correctly. It can be a hassle, but it doesn't have to be.


In order to have a productive execution, planning needs to be done.


Why does it make you productive?


Firstly, what is your goal when using social media? If you answer this question, you are 10 miles ahead of your competition. How? Because you already know what direction you are headed. Have you ever gotten distracted from what you really needed to do? If you don't plan and prioritize, you will be chasing goal after goal after goal.


Now search. Do a quick audit over your social media and check to see what things you're doing that leads to getting to your goal. Look at what is working and what's not working.


1. Write this down.


This will save you time from spending time on the things that are not getting the job done. Of course, you can put it on your extra work to-do list and do it when you want when you can sacrifice your time, but if it isn't going to help you in the long run, you might need to reconsider.


2 . Next, prioritize.


What is the best way to get to your goal?


Social Media Marketing isn't just a couple posts, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Social media is posting at the optimum engagement times, making live videos, and posting a blog. Social Media Marketing can stretch to ads and close examination on audiences. Management with all platforms takes effort and responding to followers do too.

How long does it usually take for you to create content? Think about a blog. It takes work, doesn't it? You have to write it, edit, and make sure you're giving good value.


So what should you do?


3. Make a schedule.


Take the steps you need in order to fulfill that goal you have. These two things will help you be efficient and productive. Instead of wading around trying to figure out what to do next, you can jump in and get your feet wet.


Don't be running around trying to look for content, you should have a day where you devote on getting yourself some content and then plan out what you would post throughout the week.


This way, your whole week has the content you need and you are less worried about what to post next. I've seen many people getting stuck on Facebook for hours on end. If you don't have a plan, this might become you forgetting that your time flew by.
